Mr. Dajani is a business and thought leader, a strategic advisor to governments and corporates, seasoned banker, and investment professional. He has over 25 years of experience in investment management, corporate advisory, and strategic government initiatives, and holds board memberships across countries in the GCC, Middle East, Turkey, and the Balkans with a multi-billion-dollar transaction history across diverse sectors in numerous economies.
Mr. Dajani holds an MPA from Harvard University, has completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and holds a BSc from Liverpool School of Pharmacy in the UK. Mr. Dajani is a Founding Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of GB. He is a long-standing Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles in Jordan.
He is Chief Executive of Dubai-based IMCapital Partners that operates a strong practice in Government & Corporate Advisory, strategy, and business consultancy services. Mr. Dajani is Member of the Board of Directors of Jordan Ahli Bank and Chairman of Board Nomination & Remuneration Committee.
Mr. Dajani was formerly Chairman and CEO of Citibank in Qatar; Head of Key Clients at Goldman Sachs in its Dubai-based Investment Management Division; and Advisor to the Board of Directors of United Arab Bank in the UAE.
He was appointed Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, overseeing the development of strategic plans and strategies to attract global funds and Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) across multiple economic sectors to support economic development.
Mr. Dajani was Chief Executive of the Investment & Development Office of the Government of RAK in the UAE where he led major investments of this Sovereign Wealth Fund, streamlined and concluded multi-billion-dollar investments & strategic initiatives. He was also Chief Oil & Gas negotiator, and Spokesperson on economic affairs and investment initiatives.
He was Head of the Country Rating Committee for the Government of RAK; Head of the Founders Committee of RAK Properties; Member of the Founders Committee and the first CEO of RAK Petroleum; Chairman of RAK Multi-Specialty Hospital; Chairman of the Board of Governors of George Mason University (RAK), and Chief Government Representative/Board Member of several projects in real estate, hospitality, education, healthcare & industry.
Mr. Dajani was a Member of the Board of Directors of Alternatif Bank in Turkey, a Member of Board Executive, Remuneration, Risk & Audit Committees; and Chairman of Alternatif Lease. He was also a Member of the Investment & Governance Advisory Council of Humania Capital with investments in healthcare (Saudi German Hospital) in the Middle East & emerging markets.
As thought leader, Mr. Dajani has contributed his work across diverse publications and has regularly spoken at banking, business & economic conferences.
